Floral In Autuman

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

When you think of  Fall/Autumn does floral print come to mind? When visiting a local Torrid store I glimpsed at this blazer and instantly thought of  Fall. The mixture of greens and burnt orange reminds me of beautiful leaves falling from the trees. Needles to say I just had to have it and couldn't wait to show you guys. The vibrant colors just breathes life into me and this has to be my favorite item added to my wardrobe for Fall. The touch of black on the Lapels of the blazer is so chic. Blazers are great for layering as well so here is a way you can coordinate a blazer for a night out with the girls.

Pearls, Gems, and Studs

As the weather gets cooler the more I dread wearing a big winter coat. I’m a blazer and layering type of girl, I’m not a big fan of heavy coats so I will enjoy these days of still being able to show some skin. When transiting my looks from summer to fall I always start by changing up my footwear. It so easy to wear some summer items in the fall by adding a closed toe shoe and a long sleeved shirt y. I also love pairing simple items with items that have a bit of detailing. I like to think of it as opposites attract, and it so makes sense. I wore a vibrant fuchsia skater skirt with a long sleeved crew neck and studded booties. I love the two items together because the shirt is plain but has feminine detailing on the shoulder. For my footwear I added a pair of studded booties and a gemmed clutch as part of my accessories. Enjoy the last warm days of Fall while you can ladies

Hey Dolls this is my first entire in the Fashion Faceoff for Fall/Winter fashion between the plus size bloggers and this challenge was created by Kelly of Masquemag. I'm super thrilled to join the challenge because it pushes me and challenges me to wear something different than what I would normally wear.

I found this sweet heart plaid skater dress from Pink Clove . Pink Clove is an affordable plus size clothing company based out of the UK. They offer the latest trends in sizes  16-32 and I think that is brilliant. I love the fact they that they provide extended sizes and still design flattering clothes for plus size women. I absolutely love this company and I'm thrilled to order from them again.

 SIZE CHART

I'm totally not a sweet heart so I had to add some edge to this dress. I was really inspired by Ciara with this look. She wear boyish clothing but add her own touch of femininity.
